Text messaging terms
Terms for text messages from Platinum Guard.
These terms apply if you ask or separately agree to receive text messages from Platinum Guard. A quote request by itself is not treated as consent to recurring marketing texts.
Effective August 9, 2026
Consent and message types
If you provide a mobile number and ask or separately agree to be contacted by text, Platinum Guard may send messages related to the quote, service request, appointment, policy question, or other conversation you requested. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance.
Marketing or recurring promotional text messages, if offered, require the consent and disclosures applicable to that program. We do not treat a general request for insurance information as blanket permission for unrelated recurring marketing texts.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on the conversation and services you request. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Mobile carriers may delay or block messages for reasons outside Platinum Guard’s control.
Stop messages or get help
You may revoke text-message consent at any time. Reply STOP to a text message to opt out of further messages from that texting program or number. We may send one confirmation message after an opt-out request. Reply HELP for help when supported, or call 478-370-2011 or email the agency.
Stopping text messages does not prevent you from contacting the agency by phone or email and does not prevent required communications through other legally permitted methods.
Do not use text to bind or change coverage
Do not rely on a text message, voicemail, email, or website message for an urgent claim, to bind insurance, or to make a time-sensitive policy change. A requested change is not effective until it is approved and confirmed in writing by an authorized carrier or agency representative. Call 911 for an emergency involving immediate danger or injury.
Privacy
Do not send Social Security numbers, payment card information, driver’s license numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary text message. Text-message information is handled under the Platinum Guard Privacy Notice and applicable insurance privacy requirements.
